Favourite Irish Blessings:

May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two,
May the sun always shine on your window pane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain,
May the hand of a friend always be near to you,
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

May you be in heaven a half hour before the Devil knows your dead.

RustyChicks Limericks

You know you’re an old rusty chick
when shopping for clothes makes you sick,
you wiggle and dance,
just to fit in some pants
and stretch denim is usually your pick.

You know you’re a rustychick when
you stop getting glances from men,
you think it quite rude,
as your standing there nude
and they don’t even notice the skin.

There once was an old rusty chick
who’s bad habits she thought she could lick,
she said she would try it,
to each and every new diet,
but never found one that would stick.

You know you’re a rustychick when,
you drive to the gambling den,
give all that you gots
to those alluring slots,
coz their more entertaining than men.

You’re becoming a rustychick when,
you first notice hair on your chin,
you pluck them like crazy,
but they spring back like daisies,
it’s a battle you’ll just never win.
